As Magic & Mistletoe at Magheramorne Estate is an outdoor trail, if the weather presents a hazard and a risk to safety, any decision to postpone or cancel the trail will be taken by 1pm on the day of the trail. You will be notified by email and text message, and you will be informed of the re-booking process. This will be sent to the email address and mobile number given in the booking form. Please ‘OPT-IN’ to receive SMS messages when booking. We advise you to check your inbox (please also check junk/spam folders) and mobile phone for the latest updates before you travel.

No refunds will be offered simply if the weather is inclement. If you have not heard from our customer service team regarding a postponement/cancellation, the event will go ahead as scheduled.

On Wednesday 3rd December and Wednesday 10th December at 4.00pm and 4.15pm the trail is open for people with specific access requirements and additional needs.

These slots are created for children and adults who would love to experience our Magic & Mistletoe trail at Magheramorne Estate without the usual numbers of people and at reduced audio volumes. These sessions will also be early enough that they will be just about start in twilight making it a less daunting transition into the dark.

The capacity of these sessions will be limited to ensure that the trail remains less crowded and more relaxed. Audiences will be the first groups on-site and therefore areas will be relatively clear.

The trail is created to be as accessible as possible within the natural context of our woodland site. The route is on gravel paths, and there are several slopes, inclines and steps throughout the trail. When booking, please talk to our staff about any additional support you may need or help with parking closer to the start of the trail.

In some areas the lighting will be low level as this is part of the experience. The trail path is not covered but areas where the characters are based will have shelter. We remind visitors that this is an outdoor trail and weather may be inclement. Please wear appropriate outdoor clothing and footwear.

Only recognised guide, assistance or service dogs are welcome to the Magic & Mistletoe Trail at Magheramorne Estate. Please make sure dogs are wearing their designated jacket or lead slip.

There will be toilet facilities at the beginning and end (in the main house), and also halfway around the trail (mobile toilet block). Disabled toilet facilities are only available in the main house.

A photo with Santa is not included in the trail. However, you are very welcome to take your own photos and Santa's Elf will assist you with this if required.

It will take approximately 60-90 mins to walk the trail and have your après trail hot food.

The Magic & Mistletoe trail takes place outdoors and the weather may be inclement. Please wear appropriate outdoor clothing and footwear for winter weather. The trail route is on gravel paths, and there are several slopes, inclines and steps throughout the trail, therefore, footwear with good grip is recommended.

The Magic & Mistletoe trail is created to be as accessible as possible within the natural context of our woodland site. The route is on gravel paths, and there are several slopes, inclines and steps throughout the trail. In this terrain it may be difficult to navigate with a pram/buggy. Double prams are not suitable given the width of our paths.

All food and drinks are included in your ticket price.

Children will receive a bag of sweets, a marshmallow to toast, hot chocolate, gingerbread, an après trail hot dog, chips, juice and a Cadbury sweet.

Adults will receive a marshmallow to toast, mulled wine or hot Chocolate, homemade mince pie, an après trail hot dog, chips, tea/coffee and a Cadbury sweet.

Please note alternatives can be provided for anyone with specific dietary requirements. Remember to complete the dietary requirements box when purchasing their tickets.

Limited parking is available on-site for the event and we would encourage car sharing where possible. When you arrive at Magheramorne Estate our car park staff will direct you to a designated parking space. Please respect our car park staff as they endeavour to park all visitors safely and efficiently.

During busy times, you may be required to wait to be parked. We ask for your patience if this occurs.

Drive slowly and be aware of pedestrians in the car park, especially excited children!
